From Ohio (heading north)
Take Washtenaw-Ann Arbor Exit 37B and turn right (west) onto Washtenaw. Where Stadium Blvd and Washtenaw split (approximately 2-3 miles), stay to the right on Washtenaw following the “Hospital” signs. Turn left at Hill Street (you’ll see “The Rock”). Continue down Hill Street (campus buildings will be on your right). Turn right on State Street. Go three blocks. Turn right on North University. The Michigan League is on your left at the corner of North University Street and Fletcher Street.
From Northern MI (heading South)
Take US-23 South to M-14 West. Take Exit #3, “Downtown Ann Arbor,” which will become Main Street. Follow Main Street to Huron Street. Turn left at Huron Street. Continue down Huron to State St. Turn right on State Street. Turn left on North University. The Michigan League is on your left at the corner of North University Street and Fletcher Street.
From Northwest Suburbs
Take I-696 to I-275 South to M-14 West. Follow M-14 West signs closely. Take Exit #3, “Downtown Ann Arbor,” which turns into Main Street. Follow Main Street to Huron Street. Turn left onto Huron Street. Continue on Huron until State Street intersects. Turn right on State Street. Turn left on North University Street. The Michigan League is on your left at the corner of North University Street and Fletcher Street.
From Parts of Detroit, Redford, M-14, Plymouth and Canton
Take I-96 to M-14 West. Follow M-14 West signs closely. Take Exit #3, “Downtown Ann Arbor,” which turns into Main Street. Follow Main Street to Huron Street. Turn left on Huron Street until State Street intersects. Turn right on State Street. Turn left on North University Street. The Michigan League is on your left at the corner of North University Street and Fletcher Street.
From Lansing
Take I-96 to US-23 South. Drive on US-23 South to M-14 West (Downtown Ann Arbor) Exit. Take Exit and drive about a mile to Exit 3, also marked “Downtown.” Take exit ramp, which turns into Main Street. Follow Main Street to Huron Street. Turn left on Huron Street until State Street intersects. Turn right on State Street. Turn left on North University. The Michigan League is on your left at the corner of North University and Fletcher Street.
Parking
Important information regarding parking at the Inn at the Michigan League (May 7th to November 25th, 2026).
We apologize for any inconvenience the following information may cause on your trip to the University of Michigan campus!
Please read all instructions carefully to avoid any confusion during this construction period.
Road improvements will be taking place on North University Avenue and South Thayer Street (between South State Street and Fletcher Street) between May and November 2026. The free 30-minute parking “loop” on North University Avenue, south of the Michigan League, will be assumed CLOSED for most of this time period. There will be a 15-minute temporary drop-off zone on southbound Fletcher Street outside of the League. This drop-off zone is best accessed from westbound North University Avenue, then turn right onto northbound Fletcher Street. You will see an area with orange cones. Enter the drop-off zone in the first opening in the cones closest to the intersection. Please be aware that the first car-length area closest to the intersection is reserved for vehicles displaying disability placards and/or license plates only.
Effective June 8th through mid-June 2026
As an alternative to using the drop-off zone, you may park in the Fletcher Street Parking Structure before checking in. Then come up to the Michigan League 4th floor to check in and receive a parking pass. You only need the parking pass to exit the structure. The structure is designated by a BLUE star on the map below. You will need to take the ramp up to the parking area labeled “Patient Parking Only.” The Inn shares our parking area with the dental school. You may receive a ticket upon entering the lot, but it can be discarded, as the parking pass given during check-in will be your pass to exit the structure. Areas outlined in red will not be accessible for the majority of the construction timeline.
